US Locations I’d Love to Photograph

Some places just feel like they were made for elopements. The ones that slow you down, make you notice the light, the air, and the quiet moments between vows. If you’ve ever dreamed of a wedding day that’s intimate, cinematic, and completely yours, these are some locations that inspire me.
No Travel Fee Elopements — Washington State
Washington State is one of my favorite places. Misty coastlines, mossy forests, and dramatic mountain views create the perfect backdrop for couples who want an intentional, unplugged experience. Because I spend time there regularly, I’m able to offer no travel fee for elopements in this state.
Mount Rainier National Park
Mount Rainier feels awe-inspiring without needing a crowd. Massive peaks, wildflower meadows, and fog rolling through the trees make every moment feel private and sacred. Early mornings here are magical — soft light, crisp air, and the sense that the whole mountain is yours.
If a forested meadow with a towering peak behind you sounds like your kind of day, I’d love to explore with you.
Olympic National Park
Olympic National Park is like stepping into several worlds at once: moss-covered forests, rugged coastline, and quiet mountain views. You can exchange vows in a secluded forest clearing and end the day on a driftwood-lined beach, with the ocean as your backdrop.
Couples who want variety without constant travel find Olympic perfect.

Discounted Travel — Oregon & Northern California
For select West Coast locations, I offer a travel discount, making these dream elopements more accessible while keeping your experience intentional and luxurious.
Big Sur, California
Big Sur is dramatic, emotional, and cinematic. Cliffs drop straight into the Pacific, fog drifts along the coastline, and the light shifts constantly. It’s perfect for couples who want movement and emotion in their photos.
Imagine saying your vows with the ocean stretching out below you and fog curling around the cliffs — it’s the kind of setting that photographs itself. I can help you plan an elopement here with a reduced travel fee.
Redwoods, Northern California
Tall, quiet, and grounding. The redwoods provide a natural cathedral for your vows, with soft light filtering through the canopy. It’s peaceful, intimate, and feels timeless.
This is ideal for couples who want a simple, deeply connected elopement surrounded by nature.
Oregon Coast & Forests
From rugged coastline to mossy, forested trails, Oregon offers that classic Pacific Northwest magic. It’s a dreamy option for couples who love quiet, dramatic landscapes with a variety of backdrops in one location.

Full Travel Fee Locations
All other bucket list locations are available, though travel fees apply. These spots are worth the extra planning and miles for couples who want something epic, intentional, and cinematic.
Glacier National Park, Montana
Glacier National Park is wild, expansive, and quiet. Sharp peaks, turquoise lakes, and wide valleys make it perfect for couples who want space — both physically and emotionally. Sunrise hikes, crisp mountain air, and soft light make for images you’ll remember forever.
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
The Tetons rise sharply from the valley floor, creating clean, bold scenery. Lakes, meadows, and towering peaks make it timeless. Imagine a sunrise ceremony with the mountains reflecting in a still lake — it’s unforgettable.
Zion National Park, Utah
Zion is warm, dramatic, and striking. Red rock cliffs glow at sunrise and sunset, creating the perfect backdrop for couples who want epic scenery that still feels private.
Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado
Massive dunes, mountain backdrops, and open skies make the Sand Dunes feel otherworldly. Early morning or late afternoon light transforms the landscape, creating a unique and intimate experience.
Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island, Georgia
Weathered driftwood, soft sand, and quiet shores make Driftwood Beach a sculptural, organic setting. Sunrise ceremonies here are peaceful, editorial, and intimate — perfect for couples who want simplicity paired with dramatic coastal beauty.
Smoky Mountains, Tennessee & North Carolina
Hidden trails, creekside clearings, and misty overlooks make the Smokies ideal for couples who want an intimate, meaningful elopement close to home. The mountains feel timeless, grounding, and calm, especially on quiet mornings or weekdays.
