Maternity & Newborn Experiences
Want to feel cozy with your newborn in your Knoxville home? A glowing maternity experience in Sevierville, or a Chattanooga park? I’ll help you capture this fleeting season exactly as your family feels it, not some generic studio setup.
I live for those tender early moments: baby’s first milky breath, your exhausted-but-radiant glow. These days deserve photos that pull you right back in.
On our planning call, we’ll dial in:
Timing around feeds + light for that soft, dreamy glow
Where to nest (home, hospital, quiet outdoor spot), positioning for connection
Keeping it natural so you’re relaxed, not performing
Any special details (family heirlooms, sibling props, milk bath setup) you’d like included
Maternity + newborn sessions use Collection A or B. Fresh 48 adds an on-call fee for unscheduled births. Scheduled induction/C-section = same collection rate. For locations beyond 50 miles from Decatur, Tennessee or Cumming, Georgia, a $2/mile travel fee applies ($400 for Gatlinburg/Sevierville).

Fresh 48
Fresh 48 sessions capture your baby’s first 48 hours—those milky breaths, tiny fists, and your family’s first glow as three (or four). Cozy hospital light, skin-to-skin, unposed love.
Maternity/newborn collections cover scheduled Fresh 48s (induction/C-section). Unscheduled births add an on-call fee since I’m on standby for your due date window. Let’s chat details!

Birth Story

Birth is powerful, raw, and intimately sacred. Having it photographed and filmed allows you to actually be in the moment with your husband, knowing someone you trust is quietly documenting the story as it unfolds. I offer birth photography and video for hospital, birth center, and home births in East Tennessee, including Knoxville and Chattanooga, when your provider and location allow.
My approach is calm and respectful—no harsh flash, no direction. Just steady, gentle presence so you can focus on bringing your baby into the world.
I had my own home birth, so I get it. I can be a complete fly on the wall when you want space, or offer quiet encouragement if you welcome it. Whatever helps you feel supported without feeling watched.

"Newborn" sessions may be scheduled up to your baby's first birthday. I know postpartum recovery + life with a newborn isn't always predictable. Postpartum depression, breastfeeding challenges, sleep deprivation—whatever season you're in during that first year, we'll photograph your family when you feel ready.
