Unscripted Love Experience Terms and Conditions This Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for participation in the Unscripted Love Experience (the “Experience”) provided by Appalachian Lens (“the Photographer”). By submitting the application and paying the associated fees, you (“the Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms. 1. Matching & Experience Fee 1.1 Matching Fee To be considered for participation in the Experience, the Participant must submit a questionnaire and pay a $25 non-refundable matching fee. This fee reserves your place in the participant pool and covers costs related to pairing and planning. In cases where the matching fee is waived via promotion or beta trial, no cash value or credit is issued. 1.2 Experience Fee Once matched, the total fee for the Experience is $550, covering the full photoshoot session, planned activities, and curated date experience. Participants may choose to split the fee, or one participant may choose to prepay and cover the full amount. 1.3 Payment Schedule $25 application fee: due at questionnaire submission $550 Experience fee: due within two weeks of matching The Experience cannot be scheduled until the full Experience fee is received. 1.4 Payment Methods All major credit and debit cards are accepted. All fees must be paid before scheduling or participation. 2. Participant Pool & Matching 2.1 Enrollment By submitting your application and payment, you are entered into the participant pool for matching. Participants remain in the pool until matched or until they request removal. Participant agrees to provide valid proof of identity (including active social media or ID verification) upon request to ensure community safety. 2.2 No Refund on Application Fee The $25 application fee is non-refundable under all circumstances. 2.3 Scheduling Once matched, the Participant agrees to coordinate with their match and the Photographer to schedule the Experience within one month of being paired. 3. Experience Expectations 3.1 Comfort & Boundaries The Photographer is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment. Participants may decline any activity or interaction at any time. No participant is expected to touch, kiss, or engage in romantic behavior. 3.2 Photographer’s Role The Photographer curates the Experience, including location, activities, and photoshoot flow. Participants are encouraged to relax and engage naturally, but all aspects are guided for safety and comfort. 3.3 Attendance Participants are expected to show up on time and ready to enjoy the Experience. Failure to attend may result in forfeiture of the Experience fee. 4. Photos & Delivery 4.1 Photo Deliverables Each participant will receive a highlight video and a minimum of 20 professionally edited photos via a password-protected gallery within two weeks of the Experience. 4.2 Photo Use & Privacy Default privacy: Video and photos are delivered for personal use only. Optional marketing: The Photographer may share photos publicly only if both Participants do not object after viewing. 4.3 Copyright The Photographer retains copyright over all images. Participants may not alter, crop, or use images for commercial purposes without written permission. 5. Liability & Disclaimers 5.1 No Guarantee of Outcomes The Photographer cannot guarantee romantic or social outcomes. This Experience is about connection, presence, and artistry — not relationship success. 5.2 Liability The Photographer is not liable for any damages, losses, or injuries during the Experience. Participants agree to release and hold the Photographer harmless from claims, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct. 5.3 Force Majeure The Experience may be rescheduled due to weather, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances beyond the Photographer’s control. The Photographer will provide notice and coordinate a new date. 6. Cancellations & Rescheduling 6.1 By Participant Application fee: non-refundable Experience fee: non-refundable after payment, due to planning and logistics Rescheduling is allowed if requested at least 3 days before the scheduled Experience, subject to availability. Photographer understands all circumstances don't give notice, so rescheduling is case by case. 6.2 By Photographer In the rare event the Photographer must cancel, participants will be notified promptly and all fees refunded, or alternative dates offered. 7. Additional Terms 7.1 Conduct Participants agree to behave respectfully. Inappropriate or disruptive behavior may result in immediate termination without refund. 7.2 Travel & Location The $550 Experience fee covers locations within 75 miles of Decatur, TN 37322. 7.3 Equipment The Photographer retains full control of photography equipment. Participants may not operate equipment without explicit permission. 7.4 Confidentiality All personal information shared during application and planning will remain confidential, except as necessary to coordinate the Experience or as required by law. 7.5 Governing Law This Agreement is governed by Tennessee law. Any disputes shall be resolved in Decatur, Tennessee, via arbitration or court.
