The “No Retainer” Difference
I believe in making your wedding planning as stress-free as possible. Because of that, I do not require a retainer for any wedding or elopement within 125 miles of Decatur, TN or Cumming, GA. We simply lock everything in with a signed contract so your date is secured. This gives you the flexibility to focus your budget where it matters most and the ability to use monetary weddings gifts towards your photography.
For Destination Weddings (125+ miles):
To secure travel arrangements and logistics for weddings outside of my local radius, I require a simple, small Travel-Only Retainer calculated at $2/mile. This ensures your date is on my calendar and your travel is fully accounted for.
The Second Perspective
To maintain my high standard for both photography and film, a second Lead-Level Photographer/Media Assistant ($175/hr) is required for:

Celebrations with 75+ guests (ensuring no hug or guest reaction is missed).

Full-day coverage of 7+ hours (capturing simultaneous getting-ready moments and comprehensive reception details).
I only partner with experienced professionals who carry their own high-end gear and matching style. This ensures that everything is captured with equal intention and expertise.

Included: Anything within 50 miles of either location is included.
Travel Fee: I travel all over the lower 48—if you're heading somewhere new, let's talk.
